Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral in Frederickton was built between 1845 and 1853. Its foundation was the first new cathedral foundation on British soil since the Norman conquest of 1066.

The walls of the Cathedral's choir are wonderfully ornate.

We went to the cathedral on a weekday morning to attend a service. Finding us the only worshipers there, the person conducting the service invited us into the choir. Being too embarassed to refuse, we were given the only private service in a cathedral we are ever likely to have.

It's the Bishop!

This beautiful rose window was in the entryway of the cathedral.
